REBarcampRDU is a community lead event that takes place on April 18, 2023 at The Cary Arts Center in Downtown Cary. What makes this event so unique from other conferences you might go to is the fact that WE get to decide what we are going to talk about.
RE BarCamp is a BarCamp for Real Estate (R.E. BarCamp). What that means — the event is not structured like a typical planned conference. Every session is not planned out in advance. Nobody is paid to deliver a session. Anyone can deliver a session and attendees are strongly encouraged to participate.
REBarcamp is an event we’ve held in the Raleigh area before, and we all found it to be a powerful networking day that allows NO sales pitches! This is a “No Logo” event, meaning this is not a time for recruiting. This is not a “Branded” event, it’s a time for all of us to learn and give to our Real Estate Community.
How does that happen?
When you arrive at the event, you will have the opportunity to put your name in a slot to facilitate a session. You will also be asked what topic you want more information on so you walk away learning what you came for! You can also raise your hand NOW and let us know what you are interested in, and you will let us know when you register 🙂 There are thought leaders who have volunteered to make the event happen who are already there as well.
The number of sessions delivered at any given time depends on how many folks are interested in different topics. Sometimes, most of the auditorium will be filled with a panel, other times there will be small groups in rooms around the facility. After registration is over, a board will be put up that details each session and what room they are located in throughout the day. We will also have an app available for you to download with information.
Tickets to REBarcampRDU will go on sale February 14, 2023. It will likely sell out, so set up a reminder to get your tickets early!
